Château Montfollet Altus 2017 - Côte de Bourg

Château Montfollet “Altus” 2017 – Côtes de Bourg is a bold and elegant Bordeaux red wine. Made mainly from Merlot and Malbec, it offers a deep, intense color with aromas of ripe black fruits, plum, cocoa, vanilla, spices, and subtle toasted notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and generous, with smooth tannins, good structure, and a long aromatic finish.

A great pairing with charcuterie, grilled meats, barbecue, roast beef, lamb, game, and mature cheeses. Serve around 16–18°C. The 2017 vintage was awarded a Gold Medal at the Concours International de Lyon 2019 and 1 star in Guide Hachette 2020.
