An elegant and refined Bordeaux red from the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation. The 2016 Château Picque Caillou is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Deep ruby in colour, it offers expressive aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum, red cherry and subtle floral notes, complemented by hints of tobacco, graphite, vanilla and lightly toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is balanced and medium-bodied, with silky, well-integrated tannins, fresh fruit character and a long, elegant finish.

A mature and beautifully structured Bordeaux, ideal with grilled or roasted red meats, duck, lamb, charcuterie and aged cheeses.
